Ministry of Beauty
Ministry of Beauty, or MOB, was founded in 1995 as a hair care product wholesaler, where hairdressers could buy products for their salon. The business soon became a distributor of various cosmetics brands and started producing its own brand KIS Haircare. Things moved quickly from then on. Today, MOB has grown into a significant player in the professional hair and skincare sector, with almost 70 employees.
KIS Haircare
KIS Haircare, Ministry of Beauty’s own hair care brand, is distributed in more than 16 countries.
The Keratin Infusion System, or KIS, proves that there is always room for improvement. KIS combines the best from American and European hair care products in a complete and unique hair care line. The system contains a revolutionary formula that, true to American tradition, focuses on hair repair from the inside out. Where America is strong in hair repair, Europe is leading in hair colouring and perming techniques. KIS brings the best of both worlds together in one revolutionary hair care line, where each product has one thing in common: the Keratin Infusion System. The fact that the Royal KIS product line won the 2020 Dutch Beauty Award in the category Best Hair Salon Care Treatment highlights the products’ high quality. Not only are the products distinctive for their excellent quality, but also their highly affordable prices.
KIS Green
The new GREEN-VEGAN hair cosmetics line was developed under this name. The ingredients are natural and plant-based products, no animal testing is involved, and the packaging is made of recycled materials. The production occurs in the Netherlands, limiting the environmental impact of transportation and the associated carbon dioxide emissions. Interest from the market is very high for KIS Green.
The future
Ministry of Beauty continues to grow rapidly. Their ambition is to double their revenues over the next five years. Their growth will come from new product lines such as KIS Green and export to new regions such as Scandinavia and the USA.
Most important export countries: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and incidentally other countries
