Remmers

The Remmers group was established in 1949 by Bernhard Remmers and continues to be an independent family business to this day. Remmers specialises in the production of chemical construction products, wood paints and lacquers and industrial varnishes. The company has about 1,500 highly qualified employees and more than 400 problem-solving product systems.

Since 2020, the formerly Hoogeveen-based branch with its 30 staff is situated in Apeldoorn. In Apeldoorn, Remmers has a 1,300 m2 large experience centre at its disposal, where architects and construction, flooring and coating companies are trained in and inspired by the many possibilities that Remmers products have to offer. The experience centre will help ensure that the current company revenue will increase from 15 million to 20 million euros in the next five years.

Remmers BV is an active player in many different markets. Their products vary from construction-, wood and flooring protection materials to industrial coating systems. The product scope varies from an individual product application to the full design and realisation of a construction project or an industrial coating facility. As sustainability becomes an increasing key consideration, a growing number of environmentally friendly product lines with the premium quality characteristic of Remmers are included in the range. Besides quality, the decorative added value of their products is what distinguishes Remmers BV in the market.

To continue to provide truly innovative and market-oriented solutions, more than 80 specialists work in research and development departments in the head office in Germany. Close collaboration with technology partners in the Netherlands and Germany, including various universities and TNO, is an essential part of this process. By working every day on developing forward-thinking, environmentally friendly and sustainable product systems for the renovation of constructions, buildings and surfaces, Remmers strives to permanently stay ahead of the competition. Remmers similarly invests in training its staff and its growing customer base.

Export countries: More than 30 countries across Europe.
